Xiyuan Hospital Successfully Completes the 2025 Foreign Aid Training Program for International Participants Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce

Recently, the Training Course on Specialized Health Care Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Developing Countries, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and undertaken by Xiyuan Hospital of CACMS, successfully concluded. This training course was jointly organized and implemented by the hospital's Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and the Nursing Department. A total of 27 participants from developing countries completed the 21-day systematic training program in China and received their certificates of completion. Li Qiuyan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xiyuan Hospital of CACMS, attended the graduation ceremony. Ms. ABIR MOHAMED ZAKARIA ABDELAZIZ BARAKAT of Mansoura University, Egypt, delivered a speech as a representative of the participants. Fu Jianhua, Director of the Hospital, hosted the ceremony.
Li Qiuyan pointed out that, although China and other countries are separated by mountains and seas, medicine knows no borders. This training serves as a vivid example of deepening cooperation, mutual learning and exchange between China and various developing countries in the field of health. We look forward to more exchange programs in the future to further expand the application path of traditional medicine in the international nursing system and jointly build a more solid, open and inclusive bridge for global health cooperation.
In her speech, Ms. ABIR MOHAMED ZAKARIA ABDELAZIZ BARAKAT, the representative of the participants, extended her sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Xiyuan Hospital and all lecturers. She stated that the training featured comprehensive content, meticulous organization, and a close integration of theory and practice, which greatly benefited all participants. Through systematic learning, participants not only gained an in-depth understanding of the unique role of traditional Chinese medicine in holistic nursing, but also improved their professional skills in acupuncture and moxibustion, cupping, moxibustion, music therapy, TCM nursing, etc.
The completion of the “Training Course on Specialized Health Care Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine for Developing Countries” marked the successful conclusion of Xiyuan Hospital's 2025 Foreign Aid Training Program for International Participants sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce. Throughout the year, the hospital has undertaken 6 high-quality foreign aid training courses, building a valuable learning and exchange platform for medical and health professionals from many countries, and fully demonstrating the unique value and practical effects of traditional Chinese medicine in promoting public health.
