This building full of Chinese architectural style is the main outpatient building of our hospital, which adopts typical flush-gable-roof architectural style, with an eave height of 14 meters and a building area of nearly 50,000 square meters. The facades are composed of red walls and green tiles, and the eaves are decorated with mythical creatures led by "Immortals Riding Phoenix", in a pattern of five ridges and six mythical creatures. Wish Sending Stone
Qi Lei (1926-2010), a military poet and former Party Secretary of Xiyuan Hospital, witnessed the development of Xiyuan Hospital in his life. Inscription by President Mao Zedong
In June 1954, an instruction was made by President Mao "to set up traditional Chinese medicine research institutions immediately, and to collect good traditional Chinese medicines for further research". Sandstone Sculpture of Curing Poison by Scraping Bone
Hua Tuo (about 145-208), also named Yuanhua, a famous medical scientist in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, was called "the Originator of Surgery" by later generations. "Curing the poison by scraping bone", which is a famous historical story, comes from the Records of the Three Kingdoms. According to legend, in the 2nd century AD, Guan Yu was injured by an arrow in his arm, resulting in the invasion of poison into his bone.
