Xiyuan Hospital's English Journal IMNA Obtained its First Impact Factor of 7.4, Ranking in JCR Q1

On June 17, 2026, Clarivate’s Journal Citation Reports (JCR 2025) was officially released. Integrative Medicine in Nephrology and Andrology (IMNA), published by Xiyuan Hospital of CACMS, obtained its first Impact Factor (IF) of 7.4, ranking in Quartile 1 in the INTEGRATIVE & COMPLEMENTARY MEDICINE (5/48) and UROLOGY & NEPHROLOGY (11/134).

IMNA was officially indexed by the ESCI database in June 2025 and was classified by XinRui Journal Ranking as Q2 in the major category of Medicine, Q2 in the subcategory of Integrative & Complementary Medicine, and Q2 in the subcategory of Urology & Nephrology in April 2026. This signifies the high recognition of IMNA's academic quality, international influence, and publishing standards by the international academic and publishing communities. IMNA will continue to uphold a rigorous academic attitude, ensure the quality of its papers, promote international academic exchange and cooperation, and better serve authors and readers in the fields of integrative medicine in nephrology and andrology.

IMNA was founded in July 2021 as an official English journal by Xiyuan Hospital of CACMS. It is the world's first English journal dedicated to integrative medicine in nephrology and andrology. Professor Chen Keji, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a national TCM Master, serves as the Honorary Editor-in-Chief. Professor Lan Huiyao from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor Li Ping from the China-Japan Friendship Hospital, and Professor Li Qiuyan from Xiyuan Hospital of CACMS serve as Editors-in-Chief. Professor Yu Renhuan and Professor Guo Jun from Xiyuan Hospital of CACMS serve as Executive Editors-in-Chief. The editorial board comprises over 50 top scholars and young academic leaders from more than 20 countries and regions. In the five years since its first publication, the journal has published 138 articles from authors in over 10 countries and regions, including China, the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Canada, and Italy. The total number of downloads has exceeded 100,000, and the journal is being read and cited by readers from an increasing number of countries and regions.
